This is an illustration I did for a calendar promoting the Polish Ecology Education Foundation and their campaign about segregating electronic waste. I stylized it in the manner of old school Polish ecology illustrations, that I loved as a little kid.

Me and Niebieski Robi Kreski got invited to Metz, France to paint a quick mural in a spot on a local skatepark. We painted some roosters, since we’re that ignorant that it was the most symbolic French thing for us.Check out more photos!

Eyo, what’s good my friends and enemies? I always write about myself on this blog and today I’ve decided not to. I’m going to start a new series, where I show my favorite artists from Poland. Since I still get hits on my blog from the States, I wanna expose some fresh Polish talents. Not those, who are already established and famous in the “art world”, but the younger ones- the ones that are rising and are still not well known to the majority, but hopefully will be on the top soon. Enjoy!

1. CUMFORMERS ( cumformers.com )

Lukasz Belcarski (Cumformers) is an illustrator from Poznan. His style is pretty out there, as you can probably tell by his nickname- a lot of cum, tits and penises mixed with sweets, candy and cuteness- all drawn in a very heavy, graphic style. What really stands out about these, is the tightness of the drawing. The illustrations have elaborate rendering, but are also tastefully composed and not overdone, which reminds me a little bit of manga art or old Japanese prints.

2. CHURIST (wroclaw.net.pl/~northe/zak/churist )

Churist is a pretty mysterious dude from Gdansk. His subject matter is dark and cryptic, almost resembling the symbolism seen in masonic and illuminati artwork. What really stands out about Churist is his drawing style- He uses MS Paint in a way I have never seen before. A lot of scratchy and eery lines build up very geometric shapes. Some of the illustrations have an abstract feeling and take a while to really pick up what going on.

3. Ola Szmida ( ollyszmida.tumblr.com )

I ran into Ola’s work, when I was flipping through submissions from this one illustration competition she took part in. Her piece brought the most attention- it was the only one out of hundreds which really was able to tell a story and make me smile. Her sense of humor is very subtle and filled with character. I also like her drawing style- I’m usually a fan of more rendered and technical drawing, but Ola’s rough, quirky lines match her subject matter perfectly, giving the illustration a goofy, kind of childish feel.

4. Eva Juszczuk ( evajus.blogspot.com )

Similar to Cumformers, her work is very pornographic and cartoony, but in a more gorey and also girly way. Been a fan of Eva’s work for a pretty long time and recently I got to meet her in person, during an interview my friend was filming with her. I got to see her large scale oil  paintings in real life (I don’t think she posts them online) which only added to intenseness of the artwork. She also does comic books and little paper-mache toys with similar characters you see in her illustrations. Love the craziness in these and also the highly skilled drawing style.

4. NIEBIESKI ROBI KRESKI ( niebieskirobikreski.tumblr.com / facebook.com/niebieskirobikreski )

NIEBIESKI ROBI KRESKI is rather a street artist/muralist than an illustrator, but his work has an illustrative feel to it. What really speaks through is art, is that it seems like he’s having a lot of fun in the process- he plays around with his characters, animals and whatever. Doesn’t seem like he really plans out what he wants to paint- but the improvisation ends up in really loud and crazy artwork. I’m planning to collaborate with this dude on a mural some day.

What’s goin on brothers and sisters? Been some time I’ve posted here, sorry about that. I hope that somebody actually cares and you’ve been waiting for this day that I write again so here it is.

I recently had a solo show in Warsaw, right by my apartment on Żoliborz in the Mały Format Cafe. I showed a small selection of my work- mostly personal illustrations, but also a couple album cover designs, sketchbooks and comic books I did. Also there was a video being screened in front of the cafe, showing my process of designing the cover for Rebel Fleet 2, the new mixtape by Lowercase. Thanks to everyone that came, and fuck all you haterz that didn’t come. We still smokin, what?

Hello! It has been a while. The piece you see above this text is a coffin design for the coffin catalog- a poster promo thing for the Polar Bears agency that I am now a part of. Polar Bears supports Polish artsits (from design to street art) globally. I’m really psyched about it- it feels like I’m a musician that just got signed or something along that line. For the first promo project we decided that each artists designs a coffin in preparation for the Apocalypse that is coming up. My coffin is titled “My Final Ride” and is designed specifically for all those people who enjoy horses and horseback riding. This is a piece titled “Man, do I love dalmatians!” and as you can see it talks about a person who really does like dalmatians. I made up this idea back in college for an illustration assignment about obsessions- but the teacher chose a different idea . I’ve been really wanting to draw it though and been waiting for the perfect time to draw it. I finally found some time, so here it is! Much love,

I decided to knock out my colored pencils for the first time in a while (I have really expensive prisma color set which i rarely use coz its so damn expensive) and this is what came out- a raging, angry turtle- pissed off at life, pissed off at his every-day turtle problems, pissed off at the people, he has to deal with, pissed off at grinding so hard, he barely has time for his friends and family. Ey. hello everybody, how’s it going? Today is the last day of January and tomorrow is the first day of February and I’ve been thinking that February is gonna be a very good month for me all throughout… First of all I have a group show on Feb 4th in Space Gallery, SF with a couple of dope artists, which I am not gonna be able to attend (since I’m in Poland now) but YOU should attend it if you live in that area. Second of all I got some really cool commissions I’m working on/have finished and I’m shitting my pants with excitement but unfortunately can’t show you them yet- so come back here in 2-3 weeks and find out fo yourself.
